FHA provide homes for people who need help to live more independently, in their own home, in their own community and who would otherwise have difficulty finding a home elsewhere. FHA was established in 2017, recognising that there was a gap in specialist accommodation with wrap around support to cater for vulnerable adults who required more independent living.
As a Registered Provider of Specialist Supported Housing (SSH) our housing management goes above what traditional Landlords do, we work with partners to ensure that tenancies remain sustainable, and support needs are provided. Through our work we maximise the independence of our tenants and provide them with comfort, safety, and support.
The FHA team are the core of our business, their dedication and hard work enables us to continue to support our tenants to lead independent lives. All staff and members of the FHA Board of Management are passionate about what we do and the difference we make in delivering a positive impact on our tenants’ lives.
Supported housing in the UK helps vulnerable adults with a wide range of needs to live more independently within their local communities. As a form of Specialist Supported Housing, it provides safe and secure accommodation where individuals can build confidence, maintain their independence, and access flexible support when required. This housing also creates a strong foundation for local authorities and care providers to deliver essential services, ensuring people receive the right level of care to lead safe, stable, and fulfilling lives.
